I wonder

If anyone ever thinks about others.

Other people besides themselves.

I wonder

If anyone considers the consequences

Of their actions,

Even just once,

Even just for a second.

I wonder if

Anyone looks back

At their past

And laughs

Like I do.

I wonder

If people take the time

To be happy with their lives

Or if they have to find the time

To frown upon anything

And everything.

I wonder

If anyone tries

To find the joy in any and all things

Like I try to do.

I wonder

If anyone realizes

That it’s much easier to be happy

Than to be disappointed in everything.

I wonder

If anybody ever wonders

About the wonders

Of the world,

Large and small.
